Design & Technology

Design and Technology is taught alternately with Art once a term with weekly lessons that last between one hour and one-hour fifteen minutes. It is a subject in which our pupils are involved in designing and making things from torches to quesadillas. Children are taught to use tools correctly and safely, with a heavy focus on practical skill techniques. Children closely follow the process of designing, making and evaluating products using prototypes where appropriate.
